Let’s Talk – Healthy Habits (Part II)

Big Brothers Big Sisters invites our middle school-aged Littles (11-13) to join us with their Big or Guardian for our two-part health education series. Guest presenter: Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan NJ.
Part I: Wednesday, 9/27th 5:30-7pm; Topics: Puberty & Hygiene
Part II: Wednesday, 10/4th 5:30-7pm; Topics: Self-Esteem & Body Image

- Develop healthy friendship/relationship skills.
- Develop positive attitudes, values and self-esteem.
- Gain knowledge and understanding about puberty and the physical, social, and emotional changes that will take place.
- Address concerns and correct misunderstanding that youth may have gained from the media and peers.
